One of the most important rooms in the house has always been the Kitchen but as our lifestyles have evolved so has the nature of this room.  Today, kitchens have turned into a gathering space more than anything else.  It has become a central part of the home where kids do their homework, moms gossip with friends, guys watch TV while preparing the ingredients for the BBQ and more.  And so in modern interior design the kitchen is no longer isolated and cornered off, but rather, it is an integral part of the “living” zone.
