I’m definitely in favor of WHOLE eggs, NO bread. There’s no reason to throw that nutrient-dense yolk out – it’s full of protein, micronutrients, and healthy fats. I suppose people who are on lower-fat diets might want to stick with just the whites – but low-fat diets aren’t good for much, anyway. I totally agree with you on the cholesterol issue, too – studies have shown that people on HIGH fat, high protein, low carb diets actually get lowered bad cholesterol and higher HDL.
